River Lanterns

For this exercise I wanted to play with light to create a quiet and calming mood, so I decided to create a line of lanterns over a bridge. The row of lanterns invites guests to cross the bridge beneath the quiet nightlight. I used various bumb maps for the bridge, river and hills and used ambient lighting for the night sky. I raised the level of incandescence for the lanterns to make the self-illuminating effect and attempted to make them soft.
