I just wanted to re-post this because I really like how it turned out after playing with it just a little longer. The Process: I rendered out an occlusion pass then brought it into Photoshop with the original render, overlapped the OC render over the original, then multiplied it and this is what came out. This process is considered "render layering."

And this is the final outcome when the two are combined.
