Here are three different views of my colored cacti. I found the shading/coloring quite easy to use. There are a few things I now want to know how to do, such as make the spikes of the cacti lighter in color... but I'm not quite sure how that is done. I used a phong material on the pots and background white surface. I used blinn materials for the cacti themselves. I tried playing with adding materials, but didn't know quite how to scale and control the repetition of the pattern. Hopefully I will learn soon!
