Diatoms

For this assignment, I modeled several diatom and radiolarian shapes that I found in the Ernst Haeckel book. I used a frosted glass shader on the models, and then used a directional light with an image map. I would like to continue modeling more of these guys - there are over 100,000 species of diatoms.
