Polyform
For this polyforms assignment I modeled inside of the nautilus shell. The organic and elegant curves and pattern intrigued me so I thought it would be a good challenge. I extruded a cylinder along a curve to create the spiral and booleaned it in half to show the interior. Two spot lights were set up with different colors and shadows to have various colors appear on the shell.
I was inspired by architecture for these last two images. I made abstract forms and extrusions from a sphere to create openings and columns.
